Karlie recently revealed details of her healthy eating regime which included her preference for a late breakfast - her favourite meal of the day.
‘If I’m sleeping in my own bed in New York, I love to make just really yummy, clean, boring protein shakes with chocolate protein powder, almond milk, and banana or blackberries,’ she told Bonappetit.com
‘On days I don’t have to work, I like to sleep in,’ she added. ‘I like to make a shake, go to the gym, then have breakfast around 2 - I’m all about breakfast, it’s my favourite meal of the day. Mainly because there’s so many yummy sweet options like cereals, yoghurt, pancakes, and crepes.
‘Egg whites are also a staple for me - they’re a great source of protein and I can always have them no matter where in the world I’m working. I love my egg whites swimming in Cholula hot sauce or ketchup.’
Karlie also advises drinking plenty of water, a balanced diet and sticking to a fitness regime.
“One day somebody told me I had to perform in front of 35,000 people on the set of Selena. I didn’t know how to do it,’ Jennifer remembers.
‘I just said to myself: Don’t think about it. You can do this and you’ll be great. I walked out onto that stage. And then I did. I’ve been following that rule ever since.’”—
